The American anarchist Emma Goldman was considered already a dangerous woman in the 1890s. She was associated with the attempt on industrialist Henry Frick in 1892 and wanted by the American police. While travelling in Europe the Dutch police also became aware of the danger. They distributed a recent photo with a personal description on the reverse side and a note: "very dangerous anarchist woman; comes from New York, is in London, and wants to go to Germany."
