Video: The Future of Work - The Robot as a colleague

'Help the robots are coming!' or 'Robots take our jobs': the media are full of this kind of disturbing reports of robotics and the labor market. But there are other views on the arrival of robots in the workplace. Should we be worried? According to some, there really is no need to fear robots. They also point out that technology provides new opportunities for employment. Which developments has the labor market gone through because of technologisation? And what does technologisation mean for our future jobs?

Pakhuis De Zwijger and the International Institute of Social History organized a debate on this topic, titled The Robot as a Colleague (in Dutch) as part of the series The Future of Labour.
