Signs of Solidarity exhibition in South Africa

Earlier this month, the exhibition Signs of Solidarity: the Dutch against apartheid was launched in South Africa during the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. The Dutch embassy in South Africa facilitated an opening event which featured speeches by Albie Sachs, formerly judge on the Constitutional Court, Dutch ambassador André Haspels and Bart Luirink of ZAM, who acted as an advisor for the exhibition. The Dutch embassy is arranging a programma for the exhibition to tour universities, museums and other venues throughout South Africa in the next two yeares.
