The Kashnor collection at the IISH is named after the London book antiquarians who sold their collection to the Institute in 1937. It contains thousands of pamphlets, brochures, and books on British political, social-historical and above all economic subjects from 1650 to 1880, including free trade, the Chartist movement, the Poor Law, and the writings of early radicals.
This pamphlet provides an account of the discussion in Parliament about mismanagement in the Cornish and Devonshire mining industry, April 9, 1827.
