Afelonne Doek
Profile
Studied History at the Free University in Amsterdam. She started working at the IISH in 2003 at the Digital Infrastructure Department and was involved in several digital development projects at the IISH. In 2012 she became Head of Collection Processing, Public Services and Digital Infrastructure. As of 1 November 2013, Afelonne Doek is Director of Collections and Digital Infrastructure. Together with Henk Wals (General Director) and Leo Lucassen (Director of Research) she constitutes the Management Team of the Institute.
In June 2016 she was appointed Member of the Board of Imagine Identity and Culture,
