Stefano Bellucci, senior researcher and collector at the IISH, has been nominated member of the Steering Committee of the European Network in Universal and Global History (ENIUGH).
Its next biannual conference will take place in Budapest on 31 August – 3 September 2017 under the overall theme “Ruptures, Empires, Revolutions (externe link)”.
In connection to this thematic, in November 2014, the IISH (in collaboration with Leiden University and the African Studies Centre) organised the international conference “The Ethiopian Revolution at 40: Interpreting Social Effects and Historical Meaning”.
Marcel van der Linden, senior researcher of the IISH and former head of the IISH research department also is a member of the Steering Committee of the ENIUGH.
