Two letters from January and July 1933 tell about the work of Abramovič for the Yiddish Encyclopaedia, an important undertaking as a summing up of the range of modern Yiddish culture and learning. Abramovič, with his extensive network of international relations, was exceptionally suited to organize the financing and distribution of the publication.
