Lecture Tours

In this and many following letters Abramovič mentions his lecture tours in the U.S.A. In the vast Bundist diaspora, lectures were regularly organized for well-known politicians and writers. The speakers had to travel across many countries and cities, sometimes in great discomfort, but the lectures and the Yiddish press were the bond that held the comrades together all over the world.
In the IISH collection, there are several Yiddish posters announcing lectures from comrades from abroad in several cities in the Baltic States and Poland in the 1930s.
