Vrijdag 25 april werd op een bijeenkomst van de Zuid-Afrikaanse ambassade in Den Haag de tentoonstelling "Signs of solidarity: the Dutch against apartheid" gelanceerd over de Nederlandse bijdrage aan de strijd tegen de apartheid. Deze reizende tentoonstelling werd (in twee exemplaren) gemaakt voor de Zuid-Afrikaanse ambassade in Nederland en de Nederlandse ambassade in Zuid-Afrika, met steun van het IISG. De Zuid-Afrikaanse tentoonstelling gaat in juli aldaar in premiere. De tentoonstelling werd samengesteld door Paul Faber en vormgegeven door Dave Hoop, geadviseerd door m.n. Bart Luirink (ZAM) en Kier Schuringa (IISG). Signs of Solidarity zal de komende twee jaar gaan rondreizen door zowel Nederland als Zuid-Afrika. Voor meer informatie daarover: ksc@iisg.nl
On Friday, April 25 the exhibition "Signs of solidarity: the Dutch against apartheid" was launched at an event organised by the South African embassy in The Hague. The exhibition deals with the Dutch contribution to the struggle against apartheid and was commissioned by both the South African embassy in The Netherlands and the Dutch embassy in South Africa and produced with support of the International Institute of Social History.
