Archief Azania Komitee gereed / Azania Committee archives processed

This past year, former Azania Committee chair Marjan Boelsma, processed the archives of her organisation and produced, with my assistance, a detailed inventory of the Azania Committee archives: http://hdl.handle.net/10622/ARCH03169. The archives consist of minutes and other internal documents, correspondence and documents in relation to the PAC, BCMA, AZAPO, WOSA, black trade unions, Umtapo, a.o.; also documents relating to support projects, actions and campaigns on Sharpeville and Soweto commemmorations, political prisoners, local activities in Rotterdam, etc. Finally, the archives include a lot of documentation material on and of the South African organisations the committee closely worked with, such as the PAC, AZAPO and other Black Consciousness groups. As from now, the archives are freely accessible. Please note that the inventory is in Dutch only.
